WORK EXPERIENCE : Have been working in the Mechanical Field since last 28 years in the Gulf.

Since June 1997 to Mar 2017:

Working as Mechanical Technician, with Qatar Liquefied Gas at the North Field Bravo Production Platform at offshore Qatar, through specialized Oil Services.

July 1996 to May 1997 (1 Year)

As Mechanical Technician with GASCO at their Buhasa N.G.L. Extraction plant, through Marbco Technical Services. Abu Dhabi.

August 1987 to June 1996 (9 Years)

As Mechanical Technician with Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) at their Umm Al Nar refinery, through Marbco Technical Services, Abu Dhabi.

DETAILS OF WORK EXPERIENCE:

Performed maintenance, overall testing of machinery & equipment for offshore platform / oil refinery / gas processing plant. Such as Centrifugal Reciprocating pump & compressors, steam turbines, force draft blowers, fin fan coolers, reactors, towers, heat exchangers, boilers column, & tools, etc.

Performed alignment and realignment of Rotary machines by using, Reverse alignment and / or dial indicator rim & face method.

Carried out regular inspection and preventive maintenance on all process machinery & other related systems, including mechanical part repairs, replacement, modifications & other services. Executed direct preventive as defined in the preventive maintenance program.

Involved in the mechanical maintenance at Qatargas Offshore Platform and ADNOC – Umm al nar refinery in Abu Dhabi. Carried out preventive maintenance, trouble shooting & overhauling of all processing equipment total plant shutdown and plant turnaround. Posses the ability and confidence to work independently without any supervision.

Performing periodic servicing of European Gas Turbines (EGT) 3.3 mw. Auxiliary equipment like Lube oil system, air cooling system, changing of burners, compressor wash, periodic replacement of vent fan & air intake filters, servicing of bleed valves, inspection & replacement.

Worked on the following makes of Reciprocating compressors: Broom wade, Ingersoll Rand, Burton Corblin, Thome Crepelle, Thomassen, Dresser Rand.

Preventive maintenance & complete overhauling of the above equipment like replacing crankshaft, connecting rod, all journal bearings, anti-friction bearings, piston rings, and packings. Maintenance of main lube oil pump, auxiliary lube oil pump & valves. Attended seminar on ‘HORBIGER’ Valve manufacturing in Abu Dhabi.

Worked on the following makes of the Steam Turbines (1.2. MW)

Worthington, Siemens, Coppus.

Preventive & complete overhauling of the above steam turbines like replacement of rotor, bearings, adjustments of overspeed device, nozzle clearance, axial float, steam chest valve, labyrinths, replacement, etc.

Worked on the following makes of Pumps (Centrifugal & reciprocating).

Byron Jackson, Worthington, Sundyne, Hayward Tyler, Ingersoll Rand, Ensival, Peroni, etc.

Carried out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & complete overhauling of the above mentioned pumps. Replacement & repair of the pump shaft, bearings, impellers, wear rings, throat bushes, balancing drum, etc.

Worked on the following makes of Mechanical Seals

John Crane, Sealol, Borg Warner, Leak Proof, Durametallic, etc.

Worked on the following makes of Diesel Engines

Caterpillar & Cummins

Giving test runs of Firewater pumps driven by Caterpillar engines & Emergency Diesel Generator, driven by Cummins Engine.

Carried out preventive maintenance like periodic change out of Lube oil, Lube oil filters, Fuel filters, etc. cleaning of Air Intake filters, cleaning of Crankcase breathers, attending to running repairs & trouble shooting.

Meco (U.S.A): Independently handling the full operation and maintenance of the unit, including the addition of chemicals as per data from the laboratory.
