I am highly-motivated, skilled, and a knowledgeable emergency services worker with over 20 years of experience in multiple RCMP disciplines, and over 10 years of combined experience in wildland and urban firefighting and ambulance/rescue services.

My Unit Commanders have used this experience and knowledge to assist in their endeavours as well as augmenting their units in operations that would be outside of normal parameters. My Performance Evaluations will reflect these attributes.

I have the knowledge, skills, and experience to safely operate emergency vehicles, vehicles with air brakes, and some heavy duty equipment.

Because of these wide range of skills and knowledge I can easily relate to how other agencies or partners can be integrated into projects and incidents. I can easily converse on strategies, deployments, and tactics and because of this I am usually tasked as a person who can fit into many roles and duties. I am of mixed Native ancestry and thus am conversant in traditions and conveying respect in First Nations society.

In previous postings I have been tasked with projects that include border incursion responses and pre-planning, as well as liaising with other partner detachments and agencies (including U.S. agencies). I have also been tasked with pre-planning of incident responses involving multiple agencies, and major event planning and deployment.

I firmly believe any new opportunity expands and enhances my education, abilities, and knowledge base. I am continually willing to learn in order to advance myself and any team that I am associated with, and to build, strengthen, and solidify partnerships with agencies, co-workers, and supervisors.
