PROJECT OVERVIEW

1.Company :Multilink

Client : TVS, Hero and Mahindra Two Wheelers.

Project : Design and Devlopment of NCT, TFR and SMR Type FSUs. Softwares : CreO 3.0 and Autocad.

Multilink is major vendor in desigining and developing FSU, Relays and Switches for TVS, Hero and Mahindra Two Wheelers . It has a strong team of 35 engineers for Desigining and Development.

Fuel sender unit is used to indicate the level of fuel contained in the tank as used in automotive field. The sender unit usually uses a float connected to a variable resistor, it set its low Resistance value. As the tank empties float drops and slides moving contact along The resistor increasing its resistance finally reaching its highest resistance value When the tank is empty. In addition when the Resistance is at a certain point It will also turn on to a reserve position on the vehicles.

Roles and Responsibilities

Studying of SRS and bench mark samples in detail.

Preparing 3D model and detailing using GD&T for the same for customer approval.

Developing the component as per the approved assembly drawing along with all the child parts with tooling and production feasibility.

Dimensional check for the proto samples.

Assembling of the child parts and checking the performance of the component.

Noting all the difficulties during the assembly of child parts and implementing the same to make the Assembly easier for operator in production line by implementing poka-yoke

Preparing BOM, DFMEA for the component at proto and production level. 2. Company : Capgemini

Client : Bombardier Aerospace

Project : Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for Global Aircrafts Softwares : Catia V5.

Roles and Responsibilities

Creating and revising 3D models and 2D drawings for the Bombardier aerospace business aircrafts including Learjet, challenger, Global.

Carrying out the role as Peer Reviwer to take up the reviews of 3D models and 2D Drawings for ensuring the high quality of delivery.

Analyze the change drivers including Modsum, SB, Engineering drawings, MCR and User Comments to incorporate the engineering modifications.

CATIA V5 and V4 are the design tool package repository from which all technical details are refered to maintenance manuals.
