SolidWorks, Python, Fortran, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office WORK EXPERIENCE

Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization Group, University of Florida • Research Assistant • 08/2013-12/2016 Advisor: Dr. Namho Kim Coadvisor: Dr. Bhavani V. Sankar Research Projects:

Integration of multiscale modeling of composites under high strain rate impact with surrogate: Developed a multiscale modeling framework for simulating fracture failure behavior of composites in high strain rate applications. Surrogate models are used as constitutive relations to bridge different scales in order to make the multiscale modeling computationally efficient and allow for more flexibility. Uncertainty quantification and reduction of composites in a multiscale framework: Developed a multiscale framework of uncertainty quantification of composites. Uncertainty in upper scale is propagated from uncertainty in lower scale. Simulation and test results are combined using Bayesian approach to reduce sampling uncertainty and epistemic uncertainty. Even with a very limited number of expensive tests in upper scale, reasonable uncertainty estimation can still be achieved. This work can be further developed and used to guide decision-making of allocating limited resources among tests in different scale. Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Florida • Teaching Assistant • 08/2013-12/2016 Finite Element Analysis
