Dear Sir or Madame:

Thank you for taking time to review my resume for the job of case manager. You will see from the resume that I am a certified case manager with more than 15 years experience in the field, most of it working for on the insurer’s side of the business. I believe that this experience will provide a strong foundation for my work with you. Prior to working in case management, I worked in the hospital setting in medical surgical nursing and after that, in the area of surgical cardiac nursing including cardiac transplant, cardiac ICU and Operating Room.

In addition to the work and educational experience that you will see documented on my resume, you may be interested to know that, as regards my personal traits, I am a hard worker and someone who catches on quickly to new ways of working and new systems of work. I am generally able to work independently and do not require close supervision. When direction is needed, I take criticism well and strive to make changes as needed based on what my supervisor has indicated that I need to do. I am also able to work on a team and am happy to assist other workers with questions and concerns. In addition, I am very reliable. I do not use much sick time, and am the sort of person who can work even when under the weather.

I can provide references to my work habits and reliability. They can also tell you about by ability to work as a team member.

I would appreciate the opportunity to speak to you in person and would be available to come in for an interview at your convenience.

Thank you again for considering me,

Lisa Eaton-Adams, RN, CCM, MA
