Duties include testing and collecting products of dressings, mayo, dipping sauces, etc.. Testing includes TA, salt, PH, fat, moisture, color, etc.. Collecting includes retains, V2 & V3 cups, and Micros to be tested at a later date. Duties also include conducting hourly checks on metal detectors, package appearances, weights and code dates according to customer requirements and then entering information into computer system. Completing next day prep which includes coding, labels and setting up computer system. Work in five different areas on a rotation covering Food service, portion cups, pouches, oils and the lab areas.

Production Operator
Duties include operating machinery to produce three pound loafs of cream cheese. Machinery includes Doboy, Poucher, Filler, Lidder and Case packer. Ensure smooth operation of the machine by performing precision adjustments and calibrations to meet close tolerances along with minor repairs to ensure minimal downtime. Checking of ordering invoices to ensure proper packaging is being used when doing changeovers. Cleaning of machinery by dismantling parts with various hand tools, then rearranging pipe lines for CIP (Cleaning in position), cleaned detached parts in COP tank (Cleaning out of position). Remantling of machine after cleaning is complete. Hazardous chemical training. Food safety training. Competition of OSHA compliance along with Safe work certification.

Production Worker
Duties include operating heat presses. First by making sure the automatic settings are set to the proper heat temperature and pressure. Next placing blank products into the machine and correctly aligning them with a paper transfer image that will be applied to the product. If this is not done precise when loading the machine it will result in poor quality of product that is not acceptable to ship. When removing finished product from the press you must quickly examine product and be able to identify any defects that may have occurred during the production process. Packaging of product by hand after complete. Scanning items barcodes to get shipping label to ensure proper items. Then pack product by wrapping, selecting boxes or other packaging material.

Shagger
Duties included using computerized system to retrieve information pertaining to various locations of books through out the warehouse. After pickers complete picking of orders if any books are not found then they are in shag stage. I then retrieve books through out warehouse to fully complete order. After completing I take order to various locations to be packed and shipped. If books have minor damage we also fix the damages for shipment. I have also been cross-trained in other various positions during down time such as Picking, Packing, Pub returns, RF Stocking, Library, Inventory control, Sortation and Quality Control.
CDF Packer Duties include packing of single books and also of batch orders. Scanning of barcode to receive invoices and shipping labels. Checking titles of books against invoice to ensure proper books and number of books are being shipped. Checking for any damage of books. Occasionally picking orders of books. Finding proper location of books and ensuring no damage of books.

Supervisor
Duties included customer service. Supervising 15-20 employees per shift. Ensuring that all workstations are set up correctly and ready for the beginning of each shift. Assigning each workstation an employee to ensure sufficient work force. Maintaining equate levels of food to ensure lines do not stop. Feeding an average of 1000-2000 students in three hours, three times a day. Ensure that employees keep up with temp logbooks. Ensure all lines and dining areas are cleaned and restock at the end of each shift. Take care of cash draw at end of each shift along with the deposits at end of night. Oversee two dining halls on the weekends to ensure both are running sufficiently. Close down the dining halls for breaks, which include extra cleaning and putting supplies away for storage. Work special functions when needed. Assist with set up and tear down of special functions. Training new employees. Successfully completed the Servsafe Essentials course along with the written exam in January 2009. Successfully completed the program of Harassment in the workplace training, First-aid and CPR training.
