Volunteer cloud computing research framework
I’m working on my research Project “Volunteer cloud computing research framework”. The main aim of this work is that clients could use the volunteer computing resources using VERTICO, evaluated benchmark up to 128 nodes using java, AWS, Docker containers, AmazonDynamoDB, MySQL and UNIX. IMPROVING COMPUTATION PERFORMANCE OF C. ELEGANS ROUNDWORM TRACKING AND SEGMENTATION
I started with profiling the existing code and found that it is slower because it uses Quick Find algorithm on the Union Data Structure and rewritten the segmentation for CPUs and GPUs in C++ using the OpenCV library And C using ImageMagick library, java and MATLAB.
Accelerating Markov Decision Process Algorithms through Parallelization
I worked on different data structures to solve Generalized Problems. Analyzed the cost of computation for all three Data structures, experimental results show improvement speedups. And implemented parallel algorithms in OpenMP and Cuda for optimized Data structure. Meanwhile, the cost of computation of this method is analyzed. And, Solved the Particular MDP problem, parallelized in OpenMP and Cuda, Evaluated the Performance and compared between serial and parallelization techniques. Experimental results demonstrate excellent speedups, through parallelization these methods achieved high performance, Especially on GPUs. Distributed Hash Table (DHT)
I implemented Distributed Hash Table using java, and evaluated performance on AWS Cloud on m3 medium over 100k operations. Compared DHT performance against Cassendra, Riak, ZHT, HBase, and Oracle NoSQL. Moreover, I Developed a Decentralized file sharing system using Java, sockets, threads. And Implemented a Centralized File system
