PACE Industries is a mid-size manufacturer utilizing high pressure die cast
aluminum parts for the consumer and automotive industry.
They also incorporate numerous following manufacturing methods
including machining, finishing, and assembly operations.
I am the Chief Executive of this Operation and I have facilitated a
complete "turn-around" action.
Following six years of negative earnings, our operation was positive by my
5th month.
Non-Value positions were eliminated, focus on improving quality reduced
cost of manufacturing by more than 30%

Ahresty Wilmington Corporation Wilmington, Ohio
Ahresty Wilmington Corporation is a manufacturer of high-pressure die cast
aluminum parts for the automotive industry.
The parent company, located in Japan, is the second largest automotive
parts caster in their home country.
The Wilmington operation produces more than 50 million pounds of
product shipped annually, with sales of greater than 185 million US$ for FYE
3-31-2013.
Parts are cast, machined, and assembled at this location.
Current employment is 843 associates.
Named to the Board of Directors of the Wilmington Operation, the Mexico

01/1997 to 08/2014 Vice President of Operations / Plant Manager / Manager of Manufacturing /
Production Manager
Spearheaded Scrap Reduction System, resulting in a 35% increase in
revenue. Manager of Die Casting General Manager reports directly to the
Executive Director and the Chairman of the Board.
The position is responsible to lead all aspects of the company in a culture
of continuous improvement, to a result of increasing profit.
Established the Company Improvement Plan, designed to fit within the
framework of the Corporate Vision and leading to success, is fundamental
to the position.
This position develops a Three-Year Plan and in collaboration with the
leadership team develops the single year plan.
The position is responsible for all aspects of Production, including Safety,
Quality, Delivery, Cost Reduction and approval of Capital Acquisitions.

Reduced the rejection rate by 35% thus providing a catalyst for growth

Instrumental in achieving the certifications of ISO 9001, QS 9000, ISO 14001,
& TS 16949.
Directed the implementation of planned preventive maintenance systems
resulting in solid machine operation stability from 69% Uptime to 81%
Implemented engineering & quality control plans, and executed those to
substantially reduce internal and external rejection rates resulting in much
improved customer relations and excellent improvements to operating
profit.
Implemented cost control systems for operation departments allowing
them to exceed expected reductions in cost; this reduced purchasing
costs for manufacturing by 28%.
Implemented a New Part Development Team that results in successfully
planned and executed new model start ups.
Implemented a Quarterly Business Meeting with all personnel at all levels of
the operation.
Established a supervisory training system and was the primary teacher to all
levels of leadership.
Implemented a "Quick Kaizen" Project System resulting in waste removal /
cost reduction.
