Key Achievements

Laboratory achievements included the modification of a cell culture media for expansion of hematopoietic and neuronal stem cell cultures, leading to a significant increase in viability and cell counts.

Performed flowcytometric analysis and real time PCR on stem cell, providing key support in the analysis and interpretation of the results.

Established a relationship with a strategic partner to research an immunotherapy with plasmapheresis followed by lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cell transfusion in late-stage cancer patients with liver metastases, which resulted in a significant improvement in the NK function and increase in TNF-α level.
