• Created ETL packages using SSIS for different scenario. Developed SSIS Packages for mapping data from sources (flat files, Excel files and XML files) to target and created various workflows and transformations. Intensively involved in Data Analysis, Data Cleansing. Using C# to edit script task, script component and search web page.

• Created financial and insurance data sets to support business reports and to generate various fancy reports (such as dashboard, cascading and pareto reports).

• Worked with DBA in tuning/remodifying the slow queries for better performance and deploying packages.

Loaded data from flat files and Excel files into SQL Server 2008 database tables by using BCP, bulk insert.

• 2012-2015 Data Scientist Utilized store procedures or SSIS packages to load data into SQL server database (or data warehouse); Wrote kinds of user defined functions (UDF), (optional) stored procedures, (indexed) views to enhance the security level of database. Used SSAS, SSRS to generate various report for UV/vis absorption related finger print research project.
