L3 TECHNOLOGIES/ARMY C-12 PROGRAM, Huntsville, AL 2013 – Present

Army C-12 is a prime maintenance contractor for the Army’s C-12, RC-12 & UC-35 fixed wing fleet.

Human Resources Manager/Generalist

Principle HR staff member with responsibility for the HR functions of a workforce of 450 employees spanning 81 sites worldwide and 11 separate collective bargaining agreements.

When I started, this contract was losing up to $80,000 per month in reduced manning penalties due to staffing deficiencies. In less than six weeks these losses were eliminated even though our hiring rate has tripled due to acquisition of more business.

Negotiated the consolidation of four individual CBA’s into CBA territories reducing the total number of CBA’s from 15 to 11.

Reduced the average time to hire by three days and eliminated two of five regular travel days by analysis of current employment processes and establishing performance metrics that monitor our success and alert when changes are necessary.

Successfully implemented new Performance Based Management (PBM) process that improved employee performance by providing clearer performance feedback during annual reviews.

Conduct thorough/systematic investigations to ensure appropriate resolution to employee and labor relations issues

Coaches and mentors the management team to enhance leadership skills. For example, I include managers on the investigation team which provides insight into departmental issues and results in more effective team.

Reduced annual security budget by more than $196,000 per year through the design and implementation of and access control and security camera monitoring system. Supervised the contract service that provided around the clock monitoring and roving security. (seventeen employees)
