Project Brief: NCPDP standards have transformed the pharmacy industry, saving billions of dollars in health system costs while increasing patient safety and quality of care. As part of this standard, each healthcare company need to submit pharmacy claims details to State / CMS in NCPDP format. As part of this program Humana send pharmacy data to State/ CMS in the NCPDP format. After receiving the files State/CMS IT department process the files for various standards and regulations and response file transmitted back to Humana IT. Based on the response any changes need to be done for the process to be implemented and resend the claims.
