SBIR Grant Phase I Proposal -- A Device for early detection of Acute Pancreatitis (Fall 2016)

• This proposal demonstrates a device that helps detect acute pancreatitis in early stages of its growth and thereby eliminating multiple organ failures

• Need here is to detect Interlurekin-8 in blood using a test apparatus or device that calibrates its level

• It predicts the severity of disease within onset time of 12 to 24 hrs

• Test apparatus includes a strip that tests IL-8 levels using an antibody, coagulated with colloidal tracer

• Prototype designed using AUTOCAD 2014

• There are certain facilities that are well advanced in dealing with pancreatic problems. Some of those include, Cleveland clinic, Massachusetts general, UPMC pancreas center for excellence, National pancreatic foundation. These facilities have dedicated laboratories for developing new methods and resources for pancreatitis Design of Cooling System for Core i7-5960X Processor (Spring 2016)
