Job Profile: QA/QC (Piping)

Total Piping Fabrication Scope: U/G-9, 13,622 inch dia. & A/G-66, 29,655 inch dia.

Job Responsibilities:

Study drawings/QAP/ITP in details & highlight special requirements including all important check points on drawings, i.e. tack weld, edge preparation, and NDT percentage as per specification.

Hands-on experience in constructing piping fabrication shop over large area with total productivity of

530,000 Dia Inch/month of piping welding, including required equipment’s, machines, power, manpower and industrial gases.

Responsible for all operations, production and material using HGG Plasma pipe cutting machine, COJAFEX Pipe Induction Bending Machine of our fabrication shop.

Develop and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs.

Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost control also obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products.

Strictly follow EHS compliance by self and team; also conduct tool box talk thrice in a week.

Review production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including advance inventory of material and retrieving production data for reports.

Achievements:

Increased production capacity by 15% redefining and restructuring wok flows which enabled the company to consistently meet or exceed promised manufacturing and delivery turnaround times and enabled the company to more accurately forecast and more capable of accommodating demand fluctuations.

Significantly reduced staff costs and improved productivity by improving the firm’s administrative procedures which reduced the administration workload hours to normal time.

Achieved maximum production from Induction pipe Bending Machine.

Received HOD Award for Performance that the management believes it goes above and beyond the normal requirement in operations and facilities managements.

Job Profile: Production Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Spools fabrication/execution from RMI stage to Dispatch stage.

Study drawings/QAP/specs in details & highlight special requirements including all important check points on drawing, i.e. tack weld, edge preparation, and NDT percentage as per specification.

Responsible for achieving the project targets by coordinating production activity with contractors workmen

Responsible for all quality aspects of the production work at shop floor.

A good working exposure to different types of Welding like SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW. Flair of presenting WPS & PQR.

To co-ordinate with client engineering dep’t and sort out technical issues related to drawings.

Fabrication of Carbon steel, Alloy Steel such as P-11, 12, 22, 91, etc. as well as Stainless Steel piping.

Strictly follow EHS compliance by self and ensure follow up by persons working under me.

Resolve construction problems, in order to complete piping to a stage of pre-test punch out, and to release these piping systems for pressure testing

Final check on isometrics as to field welds, materials, shipping lengths etc.

Take decision on specification changes, spool modifications, support relocation, support modification, etc.

Final inspection of lines as per the drawings.

All required DT & NDT testing carried out through Quality Control Department.

To ensure that all work is carried out on shop floor as per ITP standard.
