Being with KMP Companies LLC as a Senior Test Analyst, I’m currently deployed as a Senior Test Analyst Consultant at Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW).
IBES is a web-based system, which provides real time eligibility for Medicaid, Food stamps, Childcare, TAFI, AABD cash and other programs. It is comprised of a rules engine, which calculates the eligibility for a case and provides the appropriate benefits. Customer can also apply for benefits through online portal called Idalink, which consumes financial and non-financial information and grants the benefits. Testing this application includes many interfaces like IRS, DOL, ICARE and SSA.
On the above-mentioned applications, I’m an integral part of the development teams and responsible for end-to-end testing of features and automation of scripts using Selenium Webdriver.
Achievements:
Excelled in domain knowledge and in no time started mentoring the new team members.
Within my first couple of months, I’ve taken primary responsibility in major release and successfully completed the work.
Cleared impediments with web service unavailability by creating web services in SoapUI that returns mock responses.
Increased the throughput of QA team by creating automated scripts for reading and parsing the text files received from IRS.
Outperformed and implemented jobs in Jenkins to run the automated regression scenarios for Continuous Integration.

MLC Mobile Testing:
The primary objective of this project is to re-design the desktop website to fit perfectly on mobile devices as part of RESPONSIVE DESIGN. The application also provides the customers to choose either the desktop view or the mobile view of the application. Customer should be able to see his profile, statements, account details and settings. User should easily be able to navigate to all sections of the application with the same look and feel as online, without facing any difficulties.
Initially I was part of the group where we published this idea in an Innovation Sprint. Later, as per the business needs we started working on the project, which had tight deadlines.
Achievements:
Demonstrated my quick learning capabilities and honed skills in mobile testing area, despite of tight deadlines.
Authored Traceability Matrix reports to validate the Test Plan against requirements for System Integration Testing and UAT phases.
IDC Refresh - Single Sign On:
The IDC Refresh – Single Sign-On project is a technology driven project primarily focused on replacing and aligning MLC’s infrastructure with that of NAB’s Oracle Security Stack. Being extensible and re-usable, the Single Sign-On feature would facilitate cross-domain access for users thereby significantly improving the user experience. Main purpose of this project is to develop an Authentication Hub, which will facilitate a Single Sign-On capability for Advisers across wealth and MLC applications.
I was the solitary QA working on planning, test case creation, Requirement Traceability, coverage of end-to-end testing. Later in the execution phase, I’ve taken the responsibility of testing and mentoring the other QA’s in execution.
Achievements:
Transcended my standard duties and managed a team of 5 members.
Went an extra mile and took the responsibility of creating regression suite for the application.
Disclosed existing production issues.
Created a fail-safe document for System Integration Testing to ensure the coverage of testing across different applications.
Responsible for Daily Defect Triage with cross-functional teams.
Online Uplift adviser and Client Desktop:
MLC is the wealth management division of NAB. The Online Uplift initiative delivers key capabilities to enhance the MLC website to achieve greater utilization by advisers and customers. The project delivered a number of key changes that are intended to increase functionality, usability and capability of the website. Where the advisers have his own dashboard and clients have My Portfolio to access their details.
Achievements:
Surpassed and honed skills in the new domain.
Divulged a major gap in requirements, which was further improvised and considered as a new feature.
Been a go to team member for Post Implementation Verification and supported the project in warranty phase.

ABN MID Office transaction banking:
The project was based on a core strategic system designed principally to support the end-to-end banking process. The application connects the front office (user interface) with the back office (bank end) for Banking and Transaction process. The project aims at initiating the payment from front office, routes through various modules of the MID office system and reaches to the corresponding back office/front office. The MID office modules include Payment router, Report Router, TRIP (Transaction Related Information Provision) and GHCI (Global Hub Clearing Interface).
I have joined this project where my primary responsibility was to test the payment files, which include SWIFT, Paymul, Direct Debit, Pain formats. These files pass through each module of MID office.
Achievements:
Documented a reliable Test Plan for the project.
Well documented the process of testing the files in each module that helped other teams and new onboard members.
Responsible for ET monitoring in Production and sending the consolidated report to the client and all development teams.
