OBJECTIVE:
Seeking an opportunity in the Biomedical/Medical Device field to work as a Biomedical or Quality Engineer/Researcher with a Hospital or Medical Device Company.
EDUCATION:
State University of New York at Binghamton, Binghamton, NY May 2017
MS in Biomedical Engineering
D. J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai University, Mumbai, India May 2015
BS in Biomedical Engineering
PROJECT/LAB EXPERIENCE:
Study the impact of a liquid drop from a 3D printer, Binghamton University June 16- Dec 16
Used a high-speed camera to capture the impact of a drop from a 3 D printer on a substrate. The imaged captured was used to understand the shear strain that causes the drop to deform on impact and further understand the effect of the impact on a drop containing cells or bio ink.
The substrate consisted of patterns which were created using soft lithography techniques.
Image processing using MATLAB extracted parameters like drop velocity, size of drop and height of the drop.
Biomechanical Analysis of Multiple Motion, Binghamton University Jan 16- May 16
OptiTrack MOCAP system with Flex 13 cameras were used to analyze bowling and putting action.
Computed Tomography image reconstruction and processing using MATLAB, Jan 16- May 16
Algorithmically reconstructed 2 – D X – Ray sinogram image slice using MATLAB. Processed original X – Ray slices with and without Ram – Lak and Hamming filters.
Wolf and Moose Abundance in Isle Royal and Wolf Survival Rate, Binghamton University Aug-Dec 2015
Performed Data Analysis on these two set of data using MS Excel, MATLAB and Minitab.
Nerve Muscle Stimulator with Gait Cycle Analyzer, D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering 2014-15
Used a microcontroller to combine gait analysis and functional electrical stimulator.
µvision software was used to build the code for the microcontroller.
Microcontroller was used to control the pressure sensor, PCB and the LCD.
A 4-point pressure sensor was used to calculate the gait parameters like ankle angle, stride length, cadence.
