Function as subject matter expert to new applicants regarding initial credentialing activity while coordinating all aspects of credentialing procedure for 900 healthcare providers.

Administer and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports concerning expiring documents such as licenses, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration, malpractice insurance, and board certifications while monitoring office of inspector general (OIG) monthly sanctions against providers.

-Communication with the Clinical Department’s chairpersons for review and approval of all documents; and

Oversee data management activities for documents administered and received as well as privileges granted.

Hold responsibility in encoding and updating approval dates in CACTUS database; administering sedation privileges; and interpreting and monitoring medical staff roster.

Process credentialing/privileging procedures for medical staff, associate healthcare professionals, medical students, residents, fellows, locum tenens, healthcare representatives, and visiting physicians.
