I have completed a Masters in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor in Applied Science (Minor - Management of Information Technology), 2 Associates Degrees (Liberal Arts & Manufacturing Processes’), and an apprenticeship in machining. Successful in positions from shop floor to corporate management. In 20 years of Manufacturing, I have become proficient in manual and programmable (CNC) machines, training others, problem solving, machine theory, and job flow process. Machines include Boring Mills, Bridgeport, Shapers, Surface Grinders, CNC Bridge Mills and Vertical Machining Centers with knowledge in set-up, programming, and operation. Attained the rank of Sergeant in the United States Army.

2016-2017 Contractor - Test Engineer/Machinist – Eaton Aeroquip

Set-up, programming, and operation of various machine equipment to fabricate fixture components for component testing purposes.

Design, assemble, and conduct tests to evaluate current and future products. Design, troubleshoot and operate test fixtures for the

purpose of testing products. Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Engineering Imperatives by maintaining a high level of

involvement, motivation, and keeping abreast of current technical changes. Develop and improve lab procedures and advise

Engineering as to product improvements.

2015-2016 Contractor - Manufacturing Engineer – Cosma Casting

Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods utilizing

knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities,

assembly methods, and quality control standards. Machine Programming, streamlining existing programs, program

Contracted to Eaton Hydraulics and responsible for programming machines (4 lathes, 2 vertical machining centers) for the Piston & Rod cells. Reprogrammed numerous jobs for newer tooling, initiated cost savings procedures for General Dynamics line of parts. EdgeCam training (2014 R1)

Fixture design and fabrication, reverse engineering, programming, set-up, program debugging. Training of new machinists in programming, machine theory, and work processes. Operation of 3/5/7-axis (Okuma/Mecof/OKK) machines as required using SMIRT and traditional G & M coding.

Assigned to various companies locally to assist with production and design of parts primarily for the automotive industry. Machines operated include bridgeports, lathes, vertical machining centers (CNC), drill presses and various hand tools. Measuring equipment as needed. Also utilized as PC troubleshooter and networking tech. Can build, repair, upgrade, and conduct virus removal and special builds.

2006 – 2007 Machinist, Teston Machine Corporation

Employed as a job shop machinist responsible for machining/repairing parts for various companies including Owens-Corning, Gulfstream Aerospace, DuPont, Georgia Ports Authority, Hormel and the local water treatment plant (GAF). Work done with bridgeports, lathes, Blanchard grinder and surface grinder. Some light production and prototype work. Bench work, dismantling and assembly required for some jobs.

2001 - 2006 Machinist B, Gulfstream Aerospace

Utilized as a floater machinist by operating shop boring mills, bridgeports and lathes by the machining of aircraft parts within tolerance (generally +/- .0005). Loaned out to prototype department (Dept. 501), assisting in their backlog by fabricating prototype parts and production parts for aircraft. Mechanical Testing (tensile, pressure/flow, destructive, x-ray) of components. Sustained 5S process within the department and company.

2000 - 2001 Supervisor, TRW Automotive, Prototype Operations, Chassis Division

Responsible for planning, machining and build of Prototype jobs for Foundation Brake. Responsible for effective use of personnel and resources assigned me obtaining a 96% on time delivery. Instrumental in the set-up and operation of the Night Shift, assigned position as Night Shift Foreman.
