Projects

Diploma Project – “Auto Oiling of Piston Rings”

Main objective was to convert manual oiling of piston rings to automatic oiling.

Checking of excessive oil flow to optimum level.

Reducing time limit of excessive oil flow.

Engineering Project – “Auto Gear Rolling Tester Machine”

Comparative studies of manual and automated machine and preparing reports.

Reducing the time required for complete testing.

Succeeded in reducing the time required for complete testing by 1.5 minutes.

Master’s project- “Kinematics and Trajectory of Both Sides Cylindrical Lapping Process in the Planetary Motion Type”

Primary objective was to lap and polish the cylindrical surface of the bearing roller.

Through analysis of friction forces and pure rolling motion, it was discovered that the rolling speed of roller only depends on the rotation speed of lower plate rather than upper plate roller.

The impact of the speed parameters on the trajectory distribution, and the generation of the trajectory with respect to time were researched.

Through the analysis of friction force and movement pattern, the pure rolling motion occurs in the contact region between the roller and the lower plate, and then the rolling angular speed roll ω of roller only depends on the rotation speed of lower plate rather than the upper plate.

Master’s Dissertation - “Analysis and Simulation of Slender Curved Beams”

Primary objective of thesis work was aimed at providing useful stress relations for analyzing and designing slender curved beams.

Have presented Stress calculation formula with which we can analyze the non-linear deformations of slender curved beams.

In future, this research work will help to develop B-spline curves for shape representations of curved beams.
