Project Details

Title:Partial replacement of glass powder to the sand in concrete .

Description:In order to overcome the stress and demand for construction materials, some alternatives like waste glass powder have been identified. In this report sand is partially replaced by waste glass powder. Sand is replaced with 5%,10%,15%,20% of waste glass.

In laboratory, the workability of concrete in fresh stage and durability tests are carried out. The compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete are found out in hardened state. Then the strength and performance of fine minerals can be found out by comparing with the conventional concrete.It will reduse soil erosion in river.
