PROJECT Capstone Aircraft Design: Member of 10-person team EXPERIENCE Entered into AIAA 2016-2017 Undergraduate Team Aircraft Design Competition. Duties included critical roles in CAD modeling, forward fuselage section configuration development, performance analysis and prediction, wind-tunnel model fabrication and testing, and design and fabrication of internal and structural arrangement model. Familiar with FAA CFR Part 23 and 25 and designed the aircraft to be compliant. AIAA Design-Build-Fly Competition Team: Member of over 40-person team Acted as the CAD design team lead for 20-person subteam and worked on test flights as the aircraft was built. Presented to ERAU faculty for intermediate update during Conceptual Design Review, Detail Design Review, and Test Readiness Review. Under severe requirement of two aircrafts that fit inside of another aircraft. Team placed 12th out of over 140 international entries at 2016 competition in Wichita, Kansas. XFLR5 Panel Method Application in Compressible Flow Designed expendable strike UAV. Project supported by industry partner. CAD Conceptual Desigign of Aerospace Systems: Member of 4-person team Modified NAA Sabreliner to improve its range performance. ERAU-sponsored grant for aerodynamic analysis and wind tunnel study of an inflatable Rogallo Wing for UAV applications. Modeled 3D prototypes of wings and tested in tunnel.
