PRESENCE LIFE CONNECTIONS, Mokena, IL 2012 – 2017

A peri-acute organization, division of Presence Health, with a constellation of care and services including Home Health, Private Duty Home Care, Independent and Assisted Living, Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing facilities, Adult (and child) Day Care Centers, Hospice and Community Living Facility/Supportive Living Arrangement.

System Manager (Director) of Clinical Systems

Hired from INISIGHT GLOBAL (National Consulting Firm) to direct and lead all of the IT functions across all departments. Member of Presence Health Ethics Committee. Reported to System Director, CIO, President of PLC, and Vice President of Outpatient Behavioral Health.

Standardized multiple systems by assembling a team to form a Steering committee, project, and integration plan for implementation of:

a)two Long-Term care systems into one platform, AHT, a month ahead of schedule, and on budget with no work arounds led to revamping half of operation from paper records to a technology solution in 2013: and

b)three Home Health systems into one software platform, ALLSCRIPTS, in six months; on-time and on budget with no work arounds by removing the disparity resulting in LTC and Home Health operations saving operating and maintenance costs in 2016.

Responsible for all IS aspects of system development and business development as well as certain operational areas like Pharmacy (LTC, Retail and Mail Order). Also managed the lab provider, Alverno.

Designed, implemented and monitored a standardized companywide “Value Added” measurable process by developing with team, the online video and PowerPoint education modules which enhanced clinical quality and patient satisfaction scores for physicians, nurses, CEO's and staff in home health and long term care.

Collaborated in the design and presentation of the annual innovative Quality improvement educational programs for 250+ clinical and business leaders: implementation improved PLC’s Quality measures and customer satisfaction as well as patient’s care.

Achieved and consistently met all customer service level agreements (SLA’s): Annual system availability time of 99.8% for Portal and 99.6% for Imasis led to outstanding service to entire customer base.

Consulted on turnaround and strategic initiatives projects for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliance across three industries including: Directed teams in the U.S and Europe for a credit card processor requiring high level security clearance, First Data Corporation; an insurance conglomerate, Argonaut Insurance; and a government security and fire safety corporation, TYCO.

●Saved millions of dollars in client fines by developing solutions in compensating controls ensuring SOX compliance at TYCO: Assessed issues and stopped the project; reconfigured teams and instituted a new communication and reporting structure which finished the new project date-on time and on budget.

●Turned around a stalled incentive system project at ZURICH by assessing issues and cultural differences of a third-party provider: Facilitated meetings with the CIO and Department VP’s to construct the new vision; oversaw the development and deployment of the Incentives system for both business and IT units, completing the project on time and on budget.

●Created and managed the selection process of a BPM system for a Government contractor (ALION) by collaborating with Vice Presidents and senior management to create an RFP Document: Mediated the vendor BPM demonstrations and selection; the project was completed on time and on budget.
