A peri-acute organization, division of Presence Health, with a constellation of care and services including Home Health, Private Duty Home Care, Independent and Assisted Living, Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing facilities, Adult (and child) Day Care Centers, Hospice and Community Living Facility/Supportive Living Arrangement.
System Manager (Director) of Clinical Systems
Hired from INISIGHT GLOBAL (National Consulting Firm) to direct and lead all of the IT functions across all departments. Member of Presence Health Ethics Committee. Reported to System Director, CIO, President of PLC, and Vice President of Outpatient Behavioral Health.
Standardized multiple systems by assembling a team to form a Steering committee, project, and integration plan for implementation of:
a)two Long-Term care systems into one platform, AHT, a month ahead of schedule, and on budget with no work arounds led to revamping half of operation from paper records to a technology solution in 2013: and
b)three Home Health systems into one software platform, ALLSCRIPTS, in six months; on-time and on budget with no work arounds by removing the disparity resulting in LTC and Home Health operations saving operating and maintenance costs in 2016.
Responsible for all IS aspects of system development and business development as well as certain operational areas like Pharmacy (LTC, Retail and Mail Order). Also managed the lab provider, Alverno.
Designed, implemented and monitored a standardized companywide “Value Added” measurable process by developing with team, the online video and PowerPoint education modules which enhanced clinical quality and patient satisfaction scores for physicians, nurses, CEO's and staff in home health and long term care.
