Pharmacy Technician at Boonville CVS Pharmacy: My duties are to greet every customer with a smile and make them feel welcomed. Take their name and date of birth for safety reasons to making sure they are getting the correct prescription. I work up to 5 different stations a day. Between answering the phone and assisting the patients with any questions they may have, I also had to put the patient's prescription into the computer when they drop it off, find the correct bottle of medication for that patient, count the amount of medication they are prescribed, hand the medication with the paper work to the pharmacists so they can verify it, and helping the patient pick up their prescription. I am used to a very fast paced environment and I can handle stressful and difficult situations easily. Its all about the patients and knowing that i can help them get well again makes me happy.
