Led the transition team responsible for closing the manufacturing facility in Charleston, SC and integrating the work into other Hill Rom manufacturing locations. The core team was comprised of the following cross functional groups: Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting, Supplier Quality, Production Control and Logistics.
Initiated a cost reduction plan for Hill Rom’s Australian manufacturing location. The plan was reviewing the internal fabrication and welding process and implementing improvements. Applied lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste by 25%.
Led an initiative to development the future state of how Hill Rom would manufacture and test products. The goal was to streamline the processes and incorporate testing at the point of assembly rather than in an end of line setting.
Lead a team of Electrical Test Engineers and Technicians responsible for the testing of Hill Rom products and components at locations in the United States, France, Mexico, and suppliers in Asia.

Daily operation of seven welding, one painting, and one assembly departments in a two shift operation included 125 production associates and 15 salaried associates.
Achieved 8% cost reduction in operating expense budget by increasing productivity utilizing lean manufacturing techniques.
Reduced Painting Department operating budget by 25% by streamlining the process from two eight-hour shifts to one ten hour shift.
Achieved 15% reductions in recordable injuries in welding department.
