Key Skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure: Every end of the month, I assist manager to send monthly Financial Report and Budget to Head Office located in Singapore on time. During that time, I developed time management skills to finish all the reports and also managed to discuss with all the head of the department regarding with the reports.
Communication and analytical skills: My main duty is Account Receivable therefore, I have to communicate with all the travel agencies daily to following up with the payment and also have to talk with guest regarding with sending Tax Invoices or assisting their needs. My communication skill is improved day by day and also learnt how to deal with guests to fulfil their requirements.
Teamwork skills and experience: Mostly I work with Front Office Team, Reservation Team and Sales and Marketing Team. I gained the ability to work effectively in a team environment and also managed priorities under limited supervision.
Attention in detail: One of my major duties at Capri by Fraser Hotel is auditing the daily income to make sure all the credit card charges are correct and whether all the charges are transferred to right travel agencies. Therefore, the ability of giving attention in detail skill is improved.
Technical skills: While attending University, I gained technical proficiency in Microsoft Office especially in Excel and Word, Intermediate MYOB skills and I learnt how to use Elite Taxation software from H&R Block Taxation Training School. And now I learnt using of Hospitality Management System (HMS) and Accpac at work.
