1.Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspection which Include RT, UT, MT & PT.
2. Preparation of Quality Assurance Planning (QAP), Inspection Test Plan (ITP) & Final
Inspection Reports and Maintaining the Records.
3. Reviewing of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification
Record (PQR) as per ASME IX.
4. Knowledge in Welding Processes such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas
Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) & Gas Tungsten Arc Welding as per ASME IX.
JOB RULES AND RESPONSIBILITY
1.Stage wise, Internal In-Process Inspection.
2.Preparation of QAP & ITP.
3.Dealing with Inspection of Pressure Vessels Such as
Heat Exchangers: Pre, Post & Hydrotest Inspection.
Columns, Towers: Pre, Post, Tray Assembly, Collector & Distributor Inspection.
Drums, Vessels: Pre, Post & Demister Pad Inspection.
Heaters, Boilers: Pre, Post, Burner & Lining Inspection.
Reactors: Pre, Catalyst Unloading, Post & Catalyst Loading.
4. Gasket Inspection For Piping, Valves & Manways.
5. Inspection on Receiving Raw materials, Material Verification, Fit-up, Visual Welding
Inspection & Weld Traceability.
6. Feedback on Major Problems, Ensure Corrective Actions and Ensure Proactive Approac
to Prevent Mistakes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Review contract specification / technician requirements, drawing etc.
Review inspection & test plans in accordance with internation codes and Client specification.
Review project Weld drawing, weld and NDT map and welding procedure Specification.
Review and witness WPS, PQR, Welder and welding qualification.
Review and controll the fabrication activities as per the ITP / contract specification/codes & approved drawing
Excuting inspection and control of RAW materials, welding consumables.
Excute welding, NDT inspection Radiographic film interpretation.
Overall quality control project responsibility such as intraction and Co-ordination with
clients, design planning, project production, welding & NDT in process inspection verification stage from material identification.
Perform surveillance during inspection to verify complience with specified yard procedure including pre-heat, inter pass temperature control & post heat requirements.
Witness of dimension check for complited weld as per drawing and specification.
Review of NDT reports and witness of NDT inspection.
Witnesssing of piping chemical flushing where ever required (Ex.) Portable water tanks.
Witnessing Hydro testing of piping system and Tanks and pressure.
