EXPERIENCE Drone Expert Intern
Designed, built and operated the drone to detect and locate the sea turtle nests using onboard optical process and pattern recognition.
Developed a turtle application for Android tablet to record GPS position of nests, the number of eggs and others data currently collected by hand.
Integrated the power source using solar power to extend the battery life and eliminate the need to recharge from a power grid giving a result in long-endurance missions without returning to the ground for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
