Hi Sir/Madame:

I am Chef Jerome G. Villareal, 36 years old. I would like to apply for the position of Chef. I am a graduate of Culinary Arts Major in Pastry Management at the Philippine School of Culinary Arts in Cebu City, Philippines.

I recently worked as Chef de Partie at Jonah’s Restaurant in Syndey, Australia. I was assigned in the Ladder Section where I prepared and cooked dishes for the first and second entrée.

I also worked as Pastry Chef for Claudia’s Kitchen under The Romulo Food Group. I supervised the daily production of breads and pastries inside the commissary, for distribution on all its outlets, including Romulo Café, Tito Chef, Cerchio, LPU canteen, and concessionaires (Telus, Intercon, BPI, ADB). I am also in charge for preparing specialized pastries and desserts for special functions and banquets for the company. I also did research and develop of new products to be offered to all its outlets.

I also worked as Head Chef at Cinnamon, a catering company providing food service for Petronas and JGC employees in Sarawak, Malaysia. I have been an Executive Chef and Quality Manager for Casa Feliz Restaurant, a local restaurant in Marikina City that became popular for serving local and international flair such as pizza, pasta, cakes, pastries and rice meals. I also handled small and medium scale catering functions ranging from an average of 50 pax to 150 pax, formulating and preparing the menu along with 4 hot kitchen staffs, 3 cold kitchen staffs and 4 dining service staffs.

Moreover my kitchen experience, I also work as an Instructor at Asian College in Quezon City. I prepare teaching manuals and trains Hospitality Management student cooking and baking classes.

I have certificates for NC2 for Commercial Cooking and Pastry & Bread Production. I also have certificate for training and assessment methodology.

I am a highly motivated individual, with high enthusiasm for food and food service. I am hardworking and flexible. I am easily trained and adopts to new working situations.
