•Mighty Plastic Ltd.: Production Technician- 1987 - 1990

As Production Technician, I operated and monitored the machines and equipment that produce plastic products on a production line. I was a team player and was able to follow instructions and understand the importance of safety in the factory production and storage areas. In this job, my duties include: Weighing and mixing raw materials and feeding materials into the machine. Adjusting machine controls and monitoring the production process. Carrying out cleaning, and basic maintenance on the machines. Making quality control checks on products. Trimming excess plastic (known as "flash") from products. Recording how much raw material has been used during production and the number of items produced. Calling in the Supervisors or engineers if there are problems. Labeling, stacking and packing products, etc. During this period I was exposed to many types of manufacturing methods such as injection molding or extrusion. As a result, I became familiar with several types of machines that I used for these methods.

•During this period I was trained on Assembling, Repair and Maintenance of RADAR, Gyros and Cockpit Voice Recorder, testing, and interpretation of reports. My job includes assembling of electronic components, soldering, riveting and cutting of sheet metals using Laser cutter. I was also trained on collection and interpretation of Pilot’s Report, after every flight duration. I among the team that performed C – Check on DC 10 aircraft. I was trained on soldering technique for PC Boards and electronic components. Electronic assembling, soldering, rivetting, crimping and finishing.

During this period I was in charge of sales, Installation and after sales support of GSM Telephone handsets, Desktops, Laptops, Workstations, Servers and Printers. I was trained in MS word, Power Point, Android, IOS applications etc. Stargate Technologies Ltd. is one of the highest dealers of Cellular (GSM) Phone in Nigeria.
