I have almost ** years of experience conducting marine geohazard surveys utilizing analog and digital data from various positioning and geophysical equipment (i.e. GPS, DGPS, RTK, single beam dual frequency bathymetry, multibeam bathymetry, side scan sonar, scanning sonar, marine/land magnetometers, pinger, chirper, boomer subbottom profilers, air gun and sparker analog and digital high-resolution shallow seismic, velocimeters). I am very familiar with Gulf Coast geology and geomorphology (Coastal Quaternary and Pleistocene, continental shelf, continental slope).
I am proficient in various survey digital acquisition software, such as, Hypack, SonarWiz, Kingdom 2d/3dPAK, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
I am experienced in report writing for inland/offshore state and federal permits for construction, pipeline right-of-ways, deep water and shallow drilling sites, tow routes, site clearances, pipeline and cable as-built drawings, after storm sea bottom inspections, oyster lease assessments and prepared surveys for field crews and manage field crews.
I assisted BP and the USCG with site hazard surveys for jack up barges during the 2010 Macondo Oil Spill in Grand Isle, Louisiana and various locations along the Florida coastline.
I investigated and cleared a pipeline construction corridor for anchoring and unloading for a petroleum terminal offshore Georgetown, Grand Cayman.
