• Managed the maintenance and operation of five steam turbine generators and 22 electrical distribution load centers on an Amphibious LHD class propulsion power plant and all electrical support machinery and control electronics.
• Supervised 10 electrical technicians. Directly responsible for planning and scheduling the day-to-day operation of the Electrical Division in accordance with the project plan, to include training, corrective/preventive maintenance scheduling, managing watch station qualifications, Electrical Safety, Tag-out, Quality Assurance, Equipment Operation Logs, and managing OSHA Programs.
• Oversaw all electrical equipment operation, program compliance and availability management during an extensive 11-month $136M dollar CNO-Availability Overhaul and Dry-Docking (DMPA) - the first for the ship in 10 years.
• Coordinated multiple electrical projects, saving the Navy $130K dollars. Served as the primary liaison with private shipyard personnel, advanced installation teams (AIT) for all major availabilities providing conflict resolution and critical path repair updates.
• Tracked and monitored procedures for preventive maintenance availability (3M) and execution of ship repair, maintenance and modernization projects. Trained over 150 personnel in preventive maintenance fundamentals.
• Trained >200 personnel in troubleshooting, testing, calibration, and repair of electrical distribution equipment.
• Maintained quality control of all divisional documents. Monitored the execution of Divisional Maintenance Plans, organizational processes and procedures. Conducted formal oversight surveillance of organizational compliance with processes and procedures through planning and directing internal quality audits at the divisional level.

• Qualified Range Safety Officer. Led and managed two range safety supervisors, 18 line coaches, 23 civilian contractors and 39K student recruits annually on the Navy's Handgun Qualification Course without incident, resulting in a 94% qualification-rate, 2.5 million rounds of expended ammunition, and zero safety mishaps.
• Designated Arms Ammunition & Explosive Key Custodian. Tracked 100 High Security Keys for a 10.2M dollar weapons facility. As the Inert Ordnance Certification Officer, rigorously tracked accountability and upkeep of 100+ pieces of ordnance valued at 3.2M dollars.

• Supported US Army's 3rd Infantry Division pre-deployment training by supervising the safe off-load of 3-tons of training ordnance, which was critical to the combat readiness of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in Iraq.
