Supervised 60 assembly personnel in the daily assembly line production of the STRYER series of vehicles for the US Army. Insured safety was practiced daily by all assembly personnel. Solved complex production issues by suggesting improvements to the production process by ensuring parts were positioned on carts for each process. The inventory could be conducted by section supervisors before production started and addressed to management to get the parts needed to ensure there were no delays in production. A document was maintained that followed the vehicle through the production process to assist quality control to identify problems in each of the production process.

Promoted to shop foreman working with the setup of armored HUMWV refurbish program for 350 HUMWV. Set up shop and trained teams to perform their assigned tasks of the program. Supervised the setup of the weld shop, tool room, shop stock, petroleum sections of the maintenance facility to support repairs being performed on Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles. Procured tools from DRMO and set up tool box for mechanics and issued tools. Organized the tool room and identified and ordered the special tools. Set up a locator file in a computer for all tools and stocks. Procured needed tools, supplies, petroleum, special tools, and shop stock. Trained 3rd country nationals to operate the sections and trained them how to conduct inventories monthly of the shops tools and stocks. Identified all tools requiring load tests and calibration and set up accounts to job order load test items to be tested and set up account with local calibration facility to get tools calibrated. Set up the material safety data sheet library for the shop for all chemicals used in the shop.

•Set up operation that supported 200 expat mechanics in daily maintenance of Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles that produced vehicles to sustain combat operations in Iraq.
