About the Project:

An Innovative Approach To Detect Railway Track Is Implemented In This Project.The Software Package Designed Detects The Crack Or Any Obstacles Based On Digital Image Processing Techniques. As Image Is Prone To Noise, the Pre-Processing Procedures Used Gives Noise Free Image.

Then Median Filtering Is Used To Remove Noise From Image.The Luminous Level Of The Image Is Increased And Is Converted Into The Binary Image.Then The Finally Converted Into The Inverted Binary Images For Threshold Measurement, If The Crack Is Bended Then The Canny Algorithm Is Used.
