Purchasing Director (2004 - 2017)

Directed the Lubricant Division supply chain including an annual spend of $220 million between inventory and transportation across our 12 US and Canadian locations. Managed team of 4 direct reports to handle daily purchasing work load. Negotiated contracts with major and secondary suppliers to secure stable supply and pricing. Worked with US and Canadian customs brokers. Negotiated transportation rates for lanes for all third party incoming and outgoing shipments. Scheduled incoming shipments for regional warehouses. Implemented and managed price changes during all purchase and sales pricing movements. x Negotiated strategic costing exceptions with key vendors to support business with specific large volume customers; improved costs by over $3.5 million.
