KEY SKILL:

Ø Devising and implementing QA system at Site.

Nature of Job

1.Prepare & Maintain any QA/QC Document, Report, Record.

2.Checking of the quality of material received at the sites as per the required specifications & quality norms to avoid use of substandard material.

3.Maintaining Quality Manual and Quality Procedures Manual and ensure the awareness of all employees with regards to the criticality of quality and the adopted standards.

4.Responsible for maintaining QC lab and equipment in conforming condition.

5.To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed in execution of various activities.

6.Supervising and overseeing the analysis, inspection, design, and testing, to ensure the highest standards of quality.

7.Responsible for checking of Methodology Statement with respect to specifications /IS codes.

8.Responsible for acceptance of Manufacturer’s Test Certificate of bought out items and material like cement, steel, construction chemicals.

9.Monitors production Quality at crusher, Production and supply of concrete to all site, Ensure minimum wastage of bulk material, & Identify material sources test and establish conformity or otherwise with standard recommend for use in permanent works .

10.Monitoring quality calculation and quantity & cost information.

11.Coordination with PM & Site Staff & subcontractors for QA/QC related Activities.

12.Site observation report maintaining defect log & non conformance report, Concrete mix correction report.

13.Responsible for devising and implementing QA system at site.

Testing knowledge:-

1.Cement - Blaine, Consistency test, Initial &Final Setting time, Specific Gravity, Compressive Strength, Etc

2.Sand:-Gradation, Silt content, Specific Gravity, Density, Water absorption, Moisture content,Bulkage Etc

3.C agg:- Gradation, Specific Gravity, Density, Water absorption, Moisture content,Flakiness & Elongation, agg. impact value &agg cursing value Etc

4.Soil: Grain size analysis,Hydrometer, LL, PL, OMC, MDD.

5.Concrete:- Slump Test, Cube compressive Strength, Core cutter, Trail mix, Density, Compaction factor, flow table.

6.Brick :- Dimension test, Water absorption, Compressive Strength, Efflorescence

7.Good knowledge in I.S. specification & I.S.O. codes and procedures &Preparation of Field Quality Plan,Preparation of Inspection & Test formats as per specification .
