Msc Petroleum Engineering:
Field Development Project incorporating Formation evaluation, reservoir
simulation, drilling and completions design.
Individual Project in Production technology on improving flow performance
using artificial gas lift and down hole ICVs.
BEng Mechanical Engineering:
Design and working of a Sterling Engine model using minimal parts and
marbles as motion controllers.
Group project of 4 students undertaking complete design of an industrial
overhead crane. Mechanical parts such as gearing system, bearings, and
shafts were designed and handpicked with FEA done to evaluate different
loads.
Optimization of an industrial boiler, whereby the efficiency was increased by
20% by design and installation of a heat exchanger system as well as internal
corrosion minimized by inclusion of pre-water treatment system, all operated
based on a group designed control system.
Investigation of effect of water/moisture on thermal conductivity of sand as part
of final year project. Lab experiments were done on samples of sand with
varying moisture content and findings reported in a Journal based format.
