Client: Optum (UnitedHealth Group) - Project: Integrated clinical user experience.

Role – QA Lead/Manager

ICUE is the web-based clinical platform that connects the service delivery process across the continuum of care. It is used by the internal clinical staff to enable a consistent, intuitive, and flexible

“Integrated clinical user experience”, in the delivery clinical management programs across the continuum of care. ICUE powered by e-Sync is one system that includes a variety of features and functions required to effectively deliver services.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading monthly/quarterly releases.

Responsible for all the QA related activities from the project initiation to sign off before the release.

Activities include daily scrum, feature grooming, automation readiness, test planning and project status tracking at various levels. Release check-out responsibility to lead and drive for a successful QA check-out during the release.

We are a team of 20+ resources that I deploy on stories to successfully achieve the delivery with maximum test coverage.

Involved in multiple phases of testing i.e. system, integration and end to end testing.

Testing performed included validations on SOAP UI, data stage file processing and back end validations.

Client: Best Buy - Projects: Star POC, Star upgrade, Star pre-freeze, Star Critical enhancements, Part Search Integration, Concealed damage, License Plate and Reverse Logistics.

Role - Project test manager/Software engineering team lead

Best buy has a service management process which is done on Amdocs. Nova is the front end web application which creates a service order and generates a receipt after the completion of the same. The transactions like shipping the product to a service center/depot from a store and getting the repaired product back to the store is managed by Star (Amdocs). The complete transactions that can happen for a product to be repaired like – checking the warranty to getting the parts from the third party is managed by Star (Amdocs). Now the star upgrade project’s goal is to upgrade to the latest version of Amdocs. This requires extensive testing as there are various infrastructural dependencies with respect to the database and the fact that Star itself is heavily customized.

Responsibilities:

Handling 9 projects with on-shore and off-shore teams.

Involved from the scoping face of the project where the new requirements are discussed with the business.

Identified, researched, investigated, analyzed, defined and documented business processes and use case Scenarios.

Performed gap analysis by identifying existing technologies, documenting the enhancements to meet the end state requirements.

Role - Test Lead

Marriott.com is the front end web application which the customers use to search and reserve hotels. I was responsible in testing this major piece of functionality which is called shop and book. The search process includes a search engines and endecca which is the indexing tool. The content was pulled from vignette while the property details were fetched from the Marsha. Test execution done on view ports like mobile devices and tablets.

Responsibilities:

Designed and developed test plans and test cases in an agile model.

Designed test cases for mobile devices by considering the break points which saved many hours with respect to test coverage.

Involved in analyzing the system under test, identifying system components, describing configuration, user profile and system operation profiles.

Project estimation and resource capacity planning.

Reported daily status and stand up calls.

Involved in helping the testers understand the business requirements.

Participated in enhancements meeting to distinguish between bugs and enhancements.

Client: EMC Corporation – Project: Campaign to Cash September 2010 to Aug 2013

Role - Test Lead

The project involved testing the functionality of EMC’s campaigning strategy through SFDC. This involved integration testing between 3 applications. GMDB (global marketing database), Aprimo and SFDC. This also involved backend database testing of the tables on SQL server to watch the movement of data from the dot net based applications to SFDC. The monitoring of tables was to make sure that the data was getting populated correctly. Received great feedback mails from the client and product owners of agile projects.

Responsibilities:

Designed and developed test plans and test cases in an agile model.

Used HP ALM extensively to store all testing results and metrics.

Created Test plan Document, Defect Tracking and Reporting, RTM’s and Test Metrics.

Performed all aspects of verification, validation including functional, structural, regression, and system testing.

Worked extensively with developers on data stage to complete the testing.
