After Solenis migration from parent company Ashland, providing the production support (24/7) for Integration platform of 350 interfaces with 40+ external business partners and working on various projects in the landscape. SAP is a core ERP system and webMethods has integrations with SAP FICO, HCM, OTC, SD, EHS modules along with various internal applications like Salesforce, Infor. Etc. This project included the creation of Data centers across the globe and establishing the connectivity among all the locations and to re integrate the various applications in the system landscape. This project scope is to understand the existing applications and functionality, make the required changes to integrate the applications in the newly created environments and support the various testing cycles until moved to production and provide the support for the day to day business transactions.

Solenis webMethods platform is running on the lower version (7.1.3) which is out of support from the vendor Software AG. WebMethods migration project is migrating the webMethods from 7.1.3 to 9.5 version and replacing the deprecated services in the older version with new services across 350 interfaces Post migration working with internal and external teams for integration testing,UAT and make the new environment active in production.

Solenis is a leading global supplier of water treatment and process chemicals, and supports customers with application insights and practical expertise. Solenis migration is a Data Centre migration project, from its parent company Ashland to Solenis Environment. SAP as core system with around 80 various applications are integrated in the solution. WebMethods is the integration platform to integrate the internal applications and with B2B (45) Partners. Along with migration creating new integrations for the new applications replaced the descoped applications in Solenis landscape.

Military Bank Project is a banking project where we have developed three main functions of the bank namely Outward Remittance, Cancellation Amendment and Tracing, and Loans Process. Military Bank, a leading financial institution in the Vietnam, is looking to replace its legacy remittance process maker system with a more flexible and a state-of-art application. The current process maker system is a legacy system which has its own challenges like delay in launching a new case, lots of manual process, less turnaround time. To keep in pace with the market trends, and overcome the challenges, MB would like to implement a new state of the art work flow system for its remittance and loan process. MB would like to move to a state of the art process & systems scalable to meet the future growth of the organization. It wants to implement a new remittance and loan process system by the following key business objectives. Wipro was selected as business partner for maintaining their IT systems and support their daily business transactions. The Gas Distribution Front Office (GDFO) Program will introduce one integrated solution to replace the majority of the old computer systems across Emergency and Meter work, Maintenance, Repair and Construction. SAP is selected as ERP tool to master the all the asset data and ESRI has selected as Geographical tool for identifying the assets across the network. Click and Syclo are selected as dispatch and mobile application tools. SAP PI has selected as integration tool to connect various applications and integrate, in order to replace the legacy applications and architecture.

All together 130 Interfaces need to be supported along with platform management which includes applying the latest patches on platform and as administrator. As part of the support need to resolve the Incidents/SR's raised by the users with in SLA time and have to propose new enhancements to improve the system performance application.

WWU-webMethods Upgrade, UK:

Technical Lead: Mar2009 to Mar2010

WWU has implemented it’s IT solutions in 2006 as webMethods as a core integration tool to integrate various applications in the landscape. With the increase in the business, business transactions also increased, which results WWU need to upgrade their systems to cope of with the increased business transactions. As part of the upgrading the systems, the core integration tool webMethods upgraded from 6.5 to 7.1.2, which involves the upgrade both Hardware and Software. Hardware was upgraded from 32 bit 64 bit, which required to upgrade the operating system as well. As part of software upgrade, all the wM components Integration server, Broker, MWS and all the adapters JMS,JDBC and SAP Adapter and web services from 6.5 to 7.1.2.

As part of business agreement, National Grid gives the metering jobs to IDN’s and IDN’s will complete the job behalf of NG and get paid for that. Appointment Booking is implemented to optimum utilization resources. Appointment Booking is the module, which enables WWU to book the appointments on real time basis so that they can efficiently use the resources which gives greater savings by the proper resource planning.

WebMethods clustering is an up gradation project to make the webMethods Clustered Environment from the existing single point server Environment for WWU. It will make the webMethods system as robust and to avoid the single point of failure in the process of Business critical Information and large file/batch job handling. As part of webMethods clustering upgraded the components like SAP Adapter, JMS and JDBC adapter and portal server. This up gradation requires code changes for all the Business processes in various interfaces and testing and deployment of the code in clustered Environment.

oDownload the required component image from webMethods site. Installed the Integration server, Broker, Portal and all other components.

Wales & West Utilities Limited (WWU) - formerly part of Transco - was launched on Wednesday 1 June 2005. As a regulated gas distribution business with around 34,000 km of gas distribution pipelines located in Wales and the South West of England, the company's main offices are in Cardiff and Bristol and it serves a catchments area with a population of 7.4 million. As part of building its IT systems they needed to integrate various application and suppliers. Web Methods 6.5 Fabric was selected as central EAI platform to integrate its all future applications and systems. Although many systems were integrated using SAP as backbone this paper talks about integration with Advantex system only. SAP ¦s Work Asset Management (WAM) Module was used as central ERP solution.
