LKQ Corporation - Bellingham, WA - April 2016 to Present Inspect and calibrate precision measuring equipment and repair when needed. Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with legal requirements.

Inspects products manufactured or processed by private companies to ensure compliance with contract specifications: Examines company's records to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.

Stamps mark of approval or rejection on product and writes report of examinations. Uses specialized tools and computer coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), micrometers; bore gauges, dial calipers, torque wrenches and calipers to test the quality of products.
