Contract Engineer, Services Coordinator at Shell Egypt N.V. (SENV Cairo), August 2013 till the 15th of March 2016 (left due to the re-organization following the merger with BG and subsequent consolidation of my role due to incorporating synergies with BG and offshoring to CP Ops central teams)

- Managed all the sourcing, tendering and Contractual activities of the Energy Conservation Campaign

(managed by Shell Egypt N.V. on behalf of a consortium comprised of Shell Egypt N.V., Apache Khalda Corporation, BG Egypt SA, Dana Gas Ltd., IPR Trans Oil Corporation, GDF Suez Exploration Egypt B.V.;

- Administered the sourcing, tendering and contracting of the 3D High Resolution Pléiades Satellite Imagery acquisition (New Imagery as per the designated coordinates) along with the processing and analysis services

- Concluded the Due Diligence Internal investigation of the contract issuance of the Military owned International Medical Center and followed up on the signing off by both parties

- Mediated and positively concluded the legal disputes of one of Shell Egypt N.V. leased buildings

(due to a case of an owner’s incapacitation due to health issues, misrepresentations of owners’ shareholding percentages in earlier versions of the lease agreements and subsequent death of the major owner shareholder “resulting into inheritance distribution”.

- Worked as the designated Contract Board Secretary with tasks including monitoring Contract Board members ideas/suggestions and addressing their queries, maintaining robust record management log of the communications to and from the Board as well as observing the contract utilization/consumption against the Contract Board spending thresholds. Other tasks included drafting, updating and finalizing the presentation of Contract Board Submissions, monitoring the Due Diligence and HSE Green banding status of all presented submissions.

- Occupied the role of the company’s coordinator for HSSE Green-banding and Due Diligence and Anti-Bribery & Corruption 3rd Party investigation and acted as the liaison with the regional cluster Ethics & Compliance Manager and with the Glasgow Dow Jones review team.

- Supervised the record management and archiving data control of the Contracting & Procurement Department as well as fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of the lead buyer on behalf of the organization (with the procurement of Apple Ipads for the well engineers and drilling teams, company’s car fleet tyres, 4X4 and sedan vehicles purchase, office safes, office stationary and cafeteria supplies, energy saving lighting, janitorial staff uniforms and other items).
