-Research project to improve reservoir production by reducing the formation of scales through enhanced scale inhibitor application.

-Modeled reservoir scaling conditions with the aid of software (GO) exclusive to MISWACO. Performed scale inhibitor compatibility check, static adsorption tests to determine scale inhibitor adsorption levels on reservoir core using two North Sea fields, Oseberg South and Brage field reservoirs as case studies. Carried out laboratory analysis on effect of surfactants on scale inhibitor adsorption.

-Successfully screened and evaluated several polymeric and phosphonate type inhibitors and surfactants. Discovered an efficient scale inhibitor of phosphonate and surfactant mixture for field use. (MI-PT/RGU/MSc Oil&Gas/2009).

-Assessed and incorporated static adsorption into the Health & Safety assessment form (Ref: PT-RA-069) for UK MISWACO Production Technologies.
