I have worked in several supervisory capacities including the implementation, and accountability of the planning, processing and procedures implementation in the nuclear power field, construction sites,(nuclear and refinery power plants, pharmaceutical plant, schools etc.) and shipyards for over 25 years. While working in my last position I was asked to sit on the Corrective Action Program Review Board to serve as a member because of my hands on experience in the field. I also have over 35 years working as a pipe fitter/welder in different capacities as well, including oil rigs and pipelines. I began my apprenticeship at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division. Since, I have supervised the installation of high-pressure core spray, installed and replacement of new piping and valve systems used to keep reactor cores cool. I have been responsible for the supervision of refueling equipment, suppression pool, alternate decay heat removal, new fabrication and construction of systems used to keep or remove heat from nuclear core. I also supervised installation of new by-pass systems and condensation transfer and storage. I have experience in reactor circulation pumps and motors rigs, pipelines. My work experience includes the supervision of weld shops and performed in a leadership capacity for a number of nuclear power support groups and large mechanical companies. I have worked in a leadership roles while working in an engineering capacity for Zapata Marine Inc. calibrating drill ship locations for off shore exploration. I have also worked as a Lead First Line Supervisor during the construction of the Westinghouse AP-1000 nuclear reactor. I gained experience working and supervising a Pasteurization team for the Pharmaceutical system testing and set-up while working on Amgen’s construction of their plant in Coventry, Rhode Island

Ensured all daily safety briefings for work being done were conducted addressing any issues that needed to be addressed on work being done in the Drywell. Responsible for organizing the composite work crew for the duration of all union work being done as well as non-union work. Assure that good Human Performance tools are being implemented at all levels. Examine and review constructability of work packages prior to craft beginning or continuing any work being done to ensure work is being done correctly according to specifications. Trouble-shoot matters of non-conformance issues. Placed in charge of monitoring corrective action issues for the welding and pipefitting jobs being done. Assisted in Corrective Action, implemented and identified Human Performance issues while sitting on the Corrective Action Program Review Board. Responsible for tracking the Hydrostatic testing while calculating and plotting amounts of demineralized water needed for Hydrostatic testing of Mechanical Modules by breaking and calculating needed water amounts needed by determining linear footage of Mechanical Modules down by separating piping systems, tanks, and equipment. Responsible for tracking all nonconformance issues and Engineer design changes through updating daily reports with Westinghouse Inc. while also submitting to management plan scheduling and work packages, while updating daily reports and three day look ahead schedule to track module status.
