RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating 2D machining sketches of press tool accessories.
Process planning of tool manufacturing schedule.
Assembling all types of press tools like compound tools, combination, progressive, forming, cutting, bending, drawtools and etc.
Receive the assembled tools as per design and prove the tools to the customer satisfaction through the components.
Proving the forming dies with good avoid thinning,tearing and scratching.
Modify the tools as per customer requirement dimensions and required quality.
Maintenance of press tools like break down and preventive maintenance through checklist.
Maintain tool history card through ISO procedure.
Maintain spares like punches, screws, inserts and etc.
Co-ordinate with inspection dept for final inspection of manufacturedtools.
Co-ordinate with other department for house keeping and 5S maintenance.
Handling the machine like lathe, milling (MITR), surfacegrinding, cylindrical grinding, drilling and tapping machine etc.
Hands on experience in manufacturing and maintenance of progressive, compound, form, draw, bending, re strike, trim&pierce, blank and cam action tools for various customers like General motors, Hyundai motors, Enfield Eicher motors, Whirlpool,,
