Role: Test Manager & Test Lead December 2013 – June 2014
Project Name: Mobile Pallet Alley Spring 2014.
Project Summary:
Earlier, most retailers take a pen to paper and write down the deal number or bulletin number of the items they wish to order. They then take that list to a computer on the show floor and enter the items into either quick entry or hunt and peck for the items in event planner on ACENET. Many retailers take the list home with good intentions to order the items on the list but may not get to it, may lose the list, etc. causing them to not place orders for all the intended items.
This project will give the ability to order the offer as the retailer sees it. No losing data, no being frustrated because there is no computer available on the show floor, and will free up lost time re-entering data they just took the time to write down. The mobile application will give retailers the ability to view items individually, add an item to the cart and submit orders found in event planner for the fall convention from their mobile device as they stand in front of the offer.
