Sr. Technical Project Manager (contractor consultant)

Manage several enterprise-wide, high-profile technical projects using Agile Scrum and JIRA to assign tasks, track progress, effort and hours, and collect metrics to report to Senior Executives. I took on the troubled Authorizations Errors and Behavioral Health Clinical Data Integration projects, where I assessed the current problems, communications break-down, and identified the underlying causes and addressed them directly to lead to the projects’ turned around.

One project in particular had significant customer abrasion issues. I came into the project, baselined the current schedule and requirements, met with numerous individuals, including the external customer, documented the solution and presented the changes required to both Executive Leadership and the customer and met regularly to re-gain the confidence and trust that had broken down. I oversaw the joint end-to-end testing partnership with the customer providers, clinical staff leads, joint technical teams and executive leadership at both organizations.

Lead the database and application changes in the behavioral health oversight, treatment review and software implementation processes and testing for a Joint Clinical Effort between my organization and the customer. Set up MyEvolv application demos and reviews, direct and implement changes to SQL Server 2008 code. Use the front-end application tools and 2014 Management Studio SQL tools to query tables, examine field and code changes and analyze user-defined functions to ensure the values are populating and fields are mapped correctly and each step is thoroughly documented throughout the process.

Create and implement the three-point estimation tool to help estimate hours and forecast the financial and resource allocations at the beginning and throughout the projects. Create and monitor the budget, forecast and actuals through each monthly reporting cycle to report to leadership. Lead the forecasting efforts in conjunction with the Enterprise Project Management Office to change the financial oversight of project at the Enterprise.

Use project management and software development best practices to drive the projects from requirements through implementation ensuring quality throughout. Quickly understand deep clinical data assessment scoring and practices to drive the test cases, nuances, progress and quality assurance which led to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Ensure that all tasks and activities from multiple individuals and teams are coordinated, each member is held accountable and the projects are moving forward through all tiers and interfaces between systems and in multiple environments using various tools to capture metrics to report to internal Executive Leadership and the customer.
