Role: - Design and build data model for COREP requirements from EBA, build
changes in HFM application and define extraction process using ODI. Led the
build and different cycles.
Location: Gurgaon, India
Project Summary: RBS wants to update the existing data model of HFM in
order to comply with guidelines for COREP from EBA (European Banking
Authority). It has been identified that existing HFM application need to be
modified and updated which will allow the system to capture/calculate feeds
for COREP requirements and that will be extracted later using ODI and then
will be loaded into an Essbase application from where all required returns
can be produced.

Project Summary: Hyperion Financial Management is being used by RBS Group
to meet all the Statutory and Regulatory Reporting requirement. It has been
designed in such a way that it will produce financials statement required
by RBS. Hyperion Financial Report and Smartview are being used to meet
reporting requirements. Flat files from GL sources are being produced and
Financial Data Quality Management is used to load GL numbers into HFM.

Project Summary: Organization has decided to go for automated consolidation
system and HFM has been identified as the tool for the consolidation.
Hyperion Financial Management has been designed in such a way that it will
produce all the financials required by Religare. Statutory and MIS reports
will be generated using Hyperion Financial Report and Smartview. The
current process of the consolidation is very manual and Microsoft Excel
based. While has being used as consolidation too Oracle Hyperion Enterprise
Management Architect is being used for metadata management. Financial Data
Quality Management is being used to provide feed from Oracle GL system.
My role includes:

Project Summary: This Project pertained to the financial domain and it
involved automation of financial reports that were being generated by
different investments of Hudson Americas. Microsoft PowerPoint was the
existing reporting system and Microsoft Excel was being used as the data
feed for these reports. To automate current reporting solution, Oracle's
OBIEE is being used as a reporting solution. Oracle 11g and Oracle Oracle's
Essbase 11.1.1.3 is being used to build data marts and OLAP cube.
In this project the financial data was provided by all different
investments of Hudson America's in Microsoft Excel format, the data is then
cleansed/transformed using an ETL tool of Oracle, called Oracle Warehouse
Builder and then it was stored in a staging area for building data mart in
oracle or OLAP cube in Hyperion Essbase. Once the data is populated in data
mart or Essbase cube, it was acting as a data source for OBIEE dashboards
and reports.
My role includes:

Project Summary: The project objective was to automate the bank's
consolidation process and it involved a large scale implementation and up-
gradation to HFM 9.3.1 Server from HFM 4.0. Through this project a new
financial setup was established making major changes in the previous
accounting methods used at the client.
The project was divided into two phases. In the first phase, the project
Implementation was done for only one of the subsidiaries of the client.
Subsequently, in the second phase, the complete group of the client was
included in the Project scope.
In this project the transactional data was downloaded from the People Soft
System. Then through Macros, transaction level data was aggregated and
cleaned and loaded into the Relational database. The output flat files so
generated from the database, was then used to build the HFM Application
and load the business data into the Hyperion Financial Management
application on a monthly basis. This data in the application was used to
generate the desired reports as and when required by the end users. More
than 100 Financial Reports and Web Input forms were developed. These
reports were published on the Hyperion server.

Project Summary: The client was a leading financial institution in its
country. The project involved migration of existing Risk Management
reports built on Business Objects platform to Hyperion platform. The client
was maintaining operational data on IBM DB2 Relational Data Source. As part
of transformation into Hyperion, the project involved build OLAP cubes on
Essbase.
Further, in the project, there were two types of reporting requirements,
Standard reports and Adhoc reports. Standard reports were being generated
based on the predefined business requirements. Ad-hoc reports were
developed through Interactive Reports in which user was provided complete
control over the Data Model. This project also involved solving the
performance issues which were present in the earlier reporting system.

Project Summary: This Product an out of box business solution which
provides executives, business users, and analysts with an intuitive user
directed query and analysis tool, accessed through an easy-to-use dashboard
interface. Data was flowing from Oracle 10g to the Essbase using an ETL
tool. The Oracle Warehouse Builder ODS database was the source for loading
data and building dimensions in Hyperion Essbase. Data loading and
dimension building tasks were automated and scheduled through Maxl and Korn
shell scripts for different cubes. After aggregation had completed, the
users could extract the cube data using Essbase Excel Add-Inns. Moreover,
the users were analyzing their data from Essbase as well from Oracle,
reports provided by Hyperion System 9 Interactive Reporting and Hyperion
System 9 Web Analysis.
