1. Lead Honda North American Purchasing in the development and purchase of Automatic Transmission component parts including cases, shafts and gears. Delivered all commodities to mass production on time, achieving or less than budget.
1. New Model Project Leader for Odyssey (2), Ridgeline (2) and RDX. Each of these projects was brought in on time and within budget.
1. Lead Honda of America Mfg and Honda Transmission Plant on a 10 year approach to part development for new model activities, procurement analysis of supplier QCDDM and dynamic strategy implementation for all transmission localization. Result was successful on time production start up and elimination of international transportation costs saving Honda over $100,000 annually.
1. Annually developed and implemented a supplier cost improvement strategy that achieved at minimum the targeted 2% goal each year. Worked in partnership with the suppliers to achieve this by promoting VA-VE ideas, improved process flow of producing and delivering parts to Honda.
1. Lead Honda North American Purchasing in the development and purchase of carpet and NVH materials for the Interiors Group. Delivered all commodities to mass production on time, at or below budget.
1. Worked with Honda Senior management with supplier distress analysis to evaluate and secure back up for potential disruption of supply of mass production parts. Result of no mass production line supply impact and within budget cost impact to Honda.
