JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

1 Overhauling and breakdown maintenance of drilling rig equipments and valves, emergency diesel generator and pumps. Experience in subsurface equipment FMC & Top Drive system (NOV-Varco) maintenance and tools.

2 Documenting daily rig operations/tasks, tool box safety meetings and has adequate knowledge and a desire for continual process improvement.

3 Maintenance, repair & overhaul of Draw works, Mud pumps, Air compressors, BOP, Cat engines. Top drive type (National Varco, Tesco and maritime) Maintenance & repair of all drilling equipment and Hydraulic system.

4 Responsible for all repair, commissioning and installation of Koomey, National Oil Well, Gardner Denver, Caterpillar, FMC Technologies, Equipments.

5 Provides assistance to Subsea Engineer as needed for testing BOP stack.

6 Assists as directed with the pressure testing of BOP stack once it is installed.

7 Complete calibration skills of following equipments - Dead weight testers, Senior Orifice meter Daniel, Pressure controllers, pressure test pumps, Level controllers, Pressure and level actuators, Safety relief valves, Flow computer, differential chart recorders Barton, oil and gas flow meters, mud pump.

8 Responsible for retrieving the drill stem and BOP equipment such that the well can be plugged and abandoned or completed. All equipment is to be returned to its proper storage location and made ready for use again or replaced if damaged.

9 Responsible for preparing all the necessary tools to be used in the rig maintenance and during rig move.

10 Maintains constant check on rig floor tool conditions Greases and lubricates equipment as necessary and maintain inventory.

11 Assists as directed during jacking operations, and properly executes all emergency assignments in accordance with station bill as directed.

12 Assists in testing & calibration on various Subsea and drilling equipments, assists crane operations as required.

13 Assists with installation and removal of drilling equipment as required.

14 Knows rig abandonment procedures and is prepared to act quickly and decisively under direction of the rig supervisors.

15 Secures rig floor equipment for emergency conditions by storing all moveable equipment and materials properly.

16 Daily production reports preparation and maintained log book and recording operation parameters.

17 Installation and maintenance, trouble shooting of Sub-sea control and process equipments.
