Academic Projects
Performance Study of Spatial Multiplexing in the presence of Polarization Diversity: A
MIMO wireless system with dual polarized antennas is developed in MATLAB and symbol
error rate is plotted against signal-to-noise ratio through simulation. Different simulation results
are compared and conclusions are drawn.
Study of LTE – SON with features: Studied about Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR),
Mobility Robustness Optimization (MRO) and Minimizations of Drive Tests (MDT) and related
issues.
Capturing Network Traffic and analyzing network trace and network protocols: This
project included capture of live network traffic, its network trace analysis and deduction of
various protocol parameters and performance.
System Level Design for a Mobile Wireless User Terminal: A QPSK modulator-demodulator
is designed using block phase estimation algorithm under the influence of Rician Flat fading.
Wireless Channel Capacity Analysis: Completed study and simulation of fading versus static
channel and power allocation schemes for optimizing channel capacity for CDMA 2000 & IS-95.
