consistent market share (Rev/Par Index) growth year over year. Implemented brand initiatives property wide in the
areas of service, quality, revenue and training. Defined and executed capital property improvements, implementation
of brand upgrades and expansion planning. Negotiated outside wedding planner arrangements. Strengthened
community relations and heightened name recognition by being on the Board of Directors for the Laguna Beach
Chamber of Commerce.

Extended Stay America - La Mirada, CA - February 1998 to August 2002
134 room, limited service hotel targeted for longer-term stays. Managed all operational/financial aspects of this
property including: banking, purchasing, revenue/budget/inventory control, sales (cold -calls, internet, and
networking), P&L, hiring/training/scheduling, vending, guest relations, quality assurance and community involvement.
Motivated and empowered staff to perform beyond all prior goals, including training to provide Guest Services that
generated record levels of repeat business. Orchestrated dramatic operational turnaround, increasing revenue and

World renowned luxury 1250 rooms and suites property with casino, recreation center and full service spa. My main
job was to insure guests’ ultimate satisfaction through Marriott standards and policies. Responsibilities included
overseeing daily operations in the housekeeping, maintenance and front desk departments. Provided leadership,
sales, and management training to other staff members, whether newly hired or already employed.
